Kirkway has been active with this class since our founding. We started in the 1980's by placing treaty reinsurance for heavy trucking programs. Then, in the 1990's, we became the first broker to a place non-standard auto treaty in the Bermuda market.

The Bermuda market is a significant player in the Non Standard Auto (NSA) space. There are approximately 15 active markets in Bermuda that have an appetite for NSA. Kirkway has had success placing treaties with larger ceding commissions which can be more generous than those currently offered by the US market.
